Did your DC become unsettled moving rooms in nursery?

My DD is nearly 2 and in the process of moving up rooms at nursery. Since the whole process began (talking to her about it, having visits etc) her sleeps has gone to pot and she needs a lot more reassurance than before. I am happy to do this, but wondered whether it is normal and will it all settle down again once she settles into her new room?

Will she still see the same staff? When they did this with my boys, they did visits to new room, and we did the "aren't you a big boy, playing in the big boys rooms" etc.
Maybe mention to the nursery?

hi yorkieg :)
Some children get anxious with change, and she will probably settle down once she gets used to the new room, shes still only ditty so it must seem like a huge change for her!have you had a word with her nursery nurses, perhaps they havent noticed that she isnt taking the change too well?especially if the new room means new nurses and they arent as familiar with how she usually is?perhaps then they can put a bit of focus on helping her to feel more at ease in the new room. hope she settles soon, bless her! :)
