Liners no longer catching poo

Hi, have used washable nappies (mainly Bumgenius and Cotton bottoms) with DS since birth, but at 18 months I'm tempted to give up. Since he's become more mobile, the liner seems to become displaced and doesn't really work anymore, so up to 3 times a day I'm scraping poo from nappies and inserts and soaking. Has anyone overcome this problem, or found particularly good liners?
Thanks

I find fleece ones loads better than disposable, have you tried those?

No, I might be being it bit thick but with fleece ones are you not just stuck with the same problem of having to scrape poo off something?
Perhaps I need to know a bit more about how they work - like do you put them in the same nappy bin/wash as the nappies?

I find fleece ones don't move around, so I can shake them over the loo and most of the poo drops off - I then flush the loo and hold the liner in the flush. Job done.

Yes, then in the bucket and same wash as the nappies.

Hmm, I might give that a go. I normally change DS downstairs, but have been thinking of starting to change him in the bathroom to get him used to the idea of the bathroom being the place for that sort of thing, so at least I'd be near the toilet. If I was to buy a piece of fleece to make my own, what size would I need to make them? Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for your advice lurcher lover, I tried out some cut up pieces of cotton jersey that I've been using as wipes and they've been a big improvement, also transferred all changing stuff to the bathroom which prob should have done ages ago.

Hi Hardly, just seen this! Glad you got on OK with fleece. They do make life easier I think. I agree, changing toddlers is easier in the bathroom! I do ds in there now (and keep the nappy bin in the bath so he can't reach it learnt that one after turning my back for 5 mins and looking back to see him gleefully spreading dirty nappies everywhere)
