Nappies leaking all the time

I use mainly reusables on DD3 and the pampers for overnights, washdays. She is just leaking so much though that I have to change the wrap with almost every nappy change(I change her every 2-3 hours) and her nighttime nappies are soaked through in the mornng. She is just about to turn 2, is it normal to suddenly increase the amount they can wee at 2? And what can I put in the reusables to make them hold more wee or to make the wraps more waterproof?

My DS went through a phase of soaking through any nappy within about 1.5hrs at around that age, often needing a trouser change. I think around that age they hold in their we for longer and then have one mega one that floods the nappy. Nothing I can suggest really, DS stoppeddoing it when he started drinking out of a proper beaker or glass cos he didn't drink as much at once (he would down a drink if it was in a sippy cup or sports bottle). I'm afraid I can't help with reusable advice either, I plan to use cloth when DC2 gets here in a few months but used disposables on DS. Maybe more boosting with bamboo or hemp (hear they're very absorbant), think 2 part nappies hold better but seems you already use them so I'm all out

Good luck

Thanks, DP thinks it is because she drinks more atm, 3dc's drink from sippy/bottles so there is always one that needs draining. Might make them have more cups and watch out for spills.
