My dd had just had her bum changed then let out a rip roaring fart and then laughed her head off, made me laugh too, then she laughed at me laughing.

Ds2 (3yo) came with me to visit a couple of my friends - no other children there. He was very shy and barely said a word - very unlike his usual self but understandable in the circumstances. As we left my friends and I were all saying, "nice to see you," "and you," etc and he stood up and shouted, "and me!" Was funny anyway - but especially sine he'd been mute the whole time we were there!

We went to the park today and I laughed at dd's bf's little brother who is 2yo who bit another child and was told off by his cm (all names changed)...

Jack, that was unkind. You do not bite Emily
Uh-oh, time out?
Yes Jack, time out

2 minutes later...

So Jack, you must say sorry to Emily.
Sorry to Emily
And no biting Emily again. Teeth are not for biting. What are teeth for?
Um
They are not for biting Emily. What are they for?
Biting Sarah?
No Jack, not biting anybody. What are teeth for?
Smiling

I tried very hard not laugh.

DS3 (3) was running around the garden, came in all red faced and said "feel my heart, it's beeping"

Mine was dipping his apple slices into his milk & saying yum yum. Confused

memphis83 · 30/07/2012 19:29

We went to book our wedding venue and while there my mum went toilet.
DS2 pipe up...
'Nanny where are you?
I replied 'she has gone to the toilet'
He then shouts 'NANNY STINKER, poo wee Nanny twumped'
She heard it all, she hopes they don't remember us by the time the wedding comes round

NoVegBeforeSkeg · 30/07/2012 19:35

Grin at these!

DS (5) went to get himself and DD an icecream from the icecream van.(It parks outside, on our side, so he's allowed to do it by himself while I watch)

DD was eating hers, DS watched her and said "You not eating your sherbert? I paid good money for that."

2gorgeousboys · 30/07/2012 19:43

DH, DS1 and DS2 came to see me at work today as I had left my work phone at home. DS2 (8yo) was wearing a tshirt and shorts combination that did not match which is unusually for him so I asked him who had got him dressed.

With a completely deadpan face and serious tone he replied immediately with "the butler. We got a butler while you have been out, did Daddy not tell you?"

I laughed all the way back to the office.

MrsHelsBels74 · 30/07/2012 20:04

It wasn't today but my son recently told me 'I'm not silly mummy, I'm lovely' Grin

BelleDameSansMerci · 30/07/2012 20:12

Me: I think it's about time I got a boyfriend, don't you?
DD (4.10) Yes. I think he should have hair. And a dog. Grin

Pochemuchka · 30/07/2012 20:22

DD (3.4) has been referring to her 17 month old brother as 'dad' all day. 'Dad, let's play here' 'Dad, don't do that' etc. Bizarre but funny!

When I asked her why she was calling him 'dad' she said it was so he had to make her food and get her chocolate from the shop and promptly shut him out of the playhouse telling him he wouldn't be allowed in until he'd been to the shop!

Yesterday DS really made me chuckle as I called out from another room: 'what are you doing DS?'
'Nothing' came the reply Grin
Just like his sister!

DawnOfTheDee · 30/07/2012 20:26

DD (6mo) is trying to crawl at the moment. She does this by planting her face on the carpet, lifting up her bum and them wiggling for all she's worth. It has me in absolute stitches Grin

She also does a great sideline in farting and burping at the same time

Cockpark · 30/07/2012 20:36

My 3 yr old DD kept asking me if the divers had a willy.... Every time. And she was obsessed with the Japanese gymnastics team and asking me if they were men or women, and then she told me to bog off when I said 'DD they are ALL men.'

DawnOfTheDee · 30/07/2012 20:38

That's a bit pot calling the kettle black considering your mn name Cockpark!
Grin

cantthinkof1 · 30/07/2012 21:27

My DS(4) asked why the divers kept changing their pants. Had to explain there were different teams and each had different swimming trunks. DS then said "I'm going to wear my pants when I go swimming".

He also told me "If you are a good girl mummy and don't get cross santa will bring you a teddy bear too"

lola88 · 30/07/2012 21:30

DS clapped his hands for the first time today then spent all day clapping at everyone to get them to laugh and cheer went down a storm in asda :)

iwasyoungonce · 30/07/2012 21:36

We were bike riding together, and my DD (6) called out to me "Mum, my knickers are stuck up my vagina!"

Purplehonesty · 30/07/2012 21:37

2 yo Ds running round the living room and kitchen before bed in one giant circuit with me and dh running after.
Lots of high fives and kisses as we met in the middle and lots and lots of giggles.
At the end he said "ooh mummy am a lil bit tired now!"

girlylala0807 · 30/07/2012 21:39

DS age 3
Mummy, do I have chicken pox
Yes darling you do
Bad chickens, I no like them

LargeGlassofRed · 30/07/2012 21:53

Dt2 age 3 after watching the gymnastics
' when I big, I do tastics in my jarmies too'

He then did high jumping off the table trying to copy the diving
I asked him if he would like to do that when he was big? And he said
' no me too little, I hold your hand in the little pool'
Very cute

stayfree · 30/07/2012 22:02

my dd (3) says ' i love 4 boys at nursery' Hmm

sagesponsoredbymacdonalds · 30/07/2012 22:34

Ds1 (4) to ds2 (19 months) while sticking stickers in a sticker book "do it yourself Littlesage, I'm not a bloomin stickerologist"

maybejusttheone · 31/07/2012 08:47

DS (21 months) and I went past a field where some horses were eating the grass.

DS 'horses. Snack'
Me 'what are they having for their snack?' (he knows that horses like to eat grass)
DS 'pasta. cheese'

Ozziegirly · 31/07/2012 12:51

DS (nearly 2) invented a new word; "furp" for when he does a fart, folllowed by a burp....

Was in the bath and said "one fart. No, two farts! (thoughtful pause) No poo"
