Dying Hair

At what age would you allow you DD to ye her hair?

if her hair is red then Never!! but otherwise i would say about 12-13 with none permanent dye, though my DD1s hair is very dark brown so i guess she would have to bleach first in which case 16, but i'm fine with whatever colour, i've been known to have blue hair in the past.

I started using semi permanent dyes at 11 (start of high school) and pennant from 13, when my mum realised I was doing a perfectly good job with the semi perms, and was only going to do it a lighter shade of blonde than my natural dark-blonde so wasn't too dramatic. Think if I'd wanted to do it in funkier colours, it wouldn't have been until I was about 16 Smile
