Terrified of sleep mats - any books to help?

My 23 month old DD is transitioning to sleeping on sleep mats at nursery, rather than a buggy, as she is about to move up rooms. By all accounts she is terrified of them and we don't know why. Does anybody know of any books about sleeping on them/at nursery that I could read to her to reassure her? I know it is a long shot, but thought worth asking!

TIA

Don't know any books but could they lend you a mat to have at home where she can play games on it, practice lying on it etc to get her used to it. Do they put sheets on them as 1 it is more hygenic, 2 lots of children dribble and stick to mat which is not comfertable and 3 if the mat is hot or cold she may not like lying on it.
There is every chance that if she gets to see others sleeping on them she will soon copy so maybe some trips up to the bigger kids room to observe their routine might help.
