Would you take baby swimming if they have a cough?

Have a swimming lesson booked this morning for 4.5mo DS but wondering whether to go. He has a chesty cough - no other symptoms like fever or blocked nose and he's generally pretty smiley and feeding (BF) fine. Have booked a doctor's appt for later on today but it's after the swimming lesson would be so can't ask doc's advice first.

Personally I wouldnt, but yesterday my husband told me I was being over cautious when I bought DD inside because we had been out in the sun for 2 hours (she has been in shade for most of that time) and I thought she needed sometime away from it. I think I am a little neurotic x

I take 23 month DS with a cough and a bit of a cold (not a fevery cold though or when he seems "unwell") but I possibly wouldn't take a small baby.

It would probably depend on how long he'd had the cough, if you're into the second week of it I probably would.
