When did you get rid of the plastic outdoor toys?

Youngest dd is 5.5, older 2 are 9.5 and 11. We have in our garden a plastic playhouse (that red/yellow one that everyone has), a Little Tikes cosy coupe car and a plastic seesaw (also LT I think).

Dd3 hasn't really played with any of these things for ages so I'm wondering if now is the time to sell them. But I have been guilty of getting rid of stuff too early and then feeling guilty.

We do have a trampoline in the garden plus swing/slide etc so she would still have plenty to play on. It would be nice to free up a bit of space on the patio!

Why dont you ask her if she's ready for you to get rid of them?

I'd get rid of all of those if they aren't getting active use. (I have been known to come to a financial arrangement with my children when they refuse to "let go" of outgrown toys. Well worth the extra pocket money ...)
