What does your baby's breath remind you of?

When DD1 was a baby I loved sniffing her breath! it smelled just like strawberries

DD2 (2wks) has buttery breath, like cake fresh out of the oven. love it! can't stop sticking my face in hers for a good whiff

Nobody else seems to smell it, it must be my PFB / PSB hormones...!

What does your baby's breath remind you of?

Ooh I LOVE my dd's breath and I too was going to say strawberries! I also love the smell of her saliva and am often found sniffing one of her sucked-to-death soft toys after she's gone to bed

Seriously formula mixed with pretty much constant thrush and thrush medicine

I get the buttery breath. DDs is normally like that. Sweet and warm.

But today she has garlic breath! Had her first pesto pasta for lunch.

DS's breath smelt overpoweringly of stomach acid. Rank. He had reflux tho.

Caramel. It's lovely

(unless her reflux is bad, then it justs smells of vomit, ugh)

Caramel and strawberries. Lush.

Biscuits. Yum

I'm not sure about their breath, but both of my babies smelt like roast parsnips when they came out!

Milk, but not actually formula milk - smells sweet and sugary and milky. Generally very nice, until you get a full belch in the face! I might go and sniff her now, she's on the Calpol, I bet she'll smell of strawberries now...

Caramel. Is lovely.

Milky when they're really young but as they reach toddlerhood then they are prone to morning breath too!

Oooh a love that sweet milky smell used to just take deep sniffs of my ds1! Is it just breast milk or do all babies have that? I always thought it was kind of like smelling flowers but that sound wierd now I've said it aloud!

My baby's head smells like pancakes :) my dh can't smell it at all. I also love smelling her breath but doesn't smell as good on formula

Carnation milk and it turns to a fudge smell when he's teething!

Is it wrong that talking about smelling babies is making me hungry?!!
