Bedtime - How long after Tea Time?

Is there any reason why I cant put DD (15m) down about half an hour after tea time?

We are trying to cut out her bedtime bottle as she never drinks it so we are planning to take her tea time from 4.30 to 5.30-6.00, that way she can eat with us more. However, she always goes to bed at about 6.30 and I can never keep her up much past then.

If it works for you then it's fine. Personally I found ever since he was 2 or so, DS has to have tea at least 2 hours before bed otherwise he's too tired to eat properly. After dinner he tends to either veg out watching TV or go upstairs and start complicated games - the food either perks him up with a little bit more energy or he can relax then and wind down for bedtime.

If he's too tired when he has his tea he doesn't eat enough and then wakes up hungry later.
