hiya,
i know that when my ds goes to school (couple of years yet though) he will have to learn well, which both me and my dh would like him to learn welsh as well. However, even though i learned welsh as a child, i cant remember much of it at all. Whats the best books for us to buy?

Apparently there's an American starting at Cardiff Uni doing Welsh this Autumn, who learned purely from the BBC site.

jofeb04, In a similar situation except that we moved here (Wales) may, one in Reception, one in Yr1 learning Wlesh and we know nothing. I would recommend getting a start now.

Bore da
Mad I was just about to post this thread!

Will check out BBC. My DS is in nursery class and is already trying to catch us out. He claimed he knew the welsh for egg was eggler. I looked blank but impressed. then he claimed the welsh for bagel was bageler. At that point I sussed him.

I am doing a secondary PGCE in wales right now and have asked for some welsh language teaching and got nothing apart from a book which is a fat lot of good if you can't pronounce anything!

Quick question for the Welsh speakers. Could you please translate 'What's your answer?' into Welsh for me? Pretty please.
