Hi

I have a place on MA Social Work starting Jan 2012. I have been awarded the Bursary and a Maintenance grant, but refused any childcare allowance. At the moment I work 23 hours a week evenings and weekends so I don't pay for childcare - I have worked out that I need about £5500 per annum on top of my current earnings (2 yr course) for DD1 (7) and DD2 (2) to be cared for full time. DH works full time, Mon-Fri days.

Any advice where to go next for help?

Try your uni's student advice centre, they'll know what to do plus you can apply to their 'access to learning'/hardship fund for childcare help if unsuccessful
