My son is 9.5 wks & we are trying to introduce a bottle (w/exp bm) but he won't suck, just chews & spits out. Have tried Medela calms bottle/teat & Dr Browns anti Vic but doesn't like either. Realise we have to persevere but any help gratefully received.......

You might be past the point of being able to introduce it... between 3 and 6 weeks is best before they become exclusively nipple-orientated. The only way is to keep trying, but you may have no luck. Why do you have to persevere? Lots of bubs never have bottles at all.

Try cup feeding. You can google it and there's also videos on Youtube. Try posting in Breast and Bottling Feeding section too for more traffic.

We tried every bottle going but dd wouldn't have them. At 9 months, just before my return to work (when panic was setting in) she suddenly decided she would take a bog standard tommee tippee one.

You could try a doidy cup if you aren't in a position to wait.
