had ds, aged nearly 3 on my lap, and asked him to hop off as baby was kicking hard.

"What's the matter mummy?"

"Oh I've just got a little tummy ache, that's all."

Cue suspicious look...

"Do you need a poo-poo on the toilet, Mummy?"

"No, darling I don't"

"Are you sure?"

Lol!!
This morning DS (3.6) on finding one of his colouring pens under the kitchen table:
DS 'Did you do that?'
ME 'No I didn't'
DS 'Yes you did. You must never never do it again!'
Excuse me

I picked my own ds and my cousins ds up from school on Monday to help out after a sudden bereavment. It was all I could do to keep a straight face when like the two kids on the Zafira advert they started chatting. Hey M, did you know my grandma had died? Yeah. It was really sudden. She just went in the bathroom and bang, she was gone. Fancy that!

I don't know how I didn't crash trying not to laugh. But these kids are five and six.

DD2 was trying to tell me something tonight and I obviously wasn't giving her as much attention as she wanted. She started wagging her finger and said

Mum, I'm talking to you!!

DD is 4 and does that to me constantly... favourite phrase in any context... 'and don't do it AGAIN!'

Saying that I did get firmly told off because I dared speaking to dd in English as opposed to German! I said NO instead of NEIN and she told me that I'm not allowed to say NO because I have to say NEIN... cute isn't she LOL

Collecting 2.5 and 3.5 DS's from nursery. One of the teachers dropped something and 3.5 said "now say bugger - say it slowly b-u -gger" When I said no naughty you mustn't say that the reply was "it's OK that boy over there says S*! Time to go .....

A few months ago – sat in a queue of traffic waiting to cross a fairly busy dual carriageway – the cars in front get across, but at our turn the traffic lights change – cue loads of cars.
DS (3.5) Oh come on mummy. We don’t want to be sat here all day!!
What!!
