going with sparkly and her dh, but essiently i will be doing the bedtim thing on my own. obviosuly i do it at home by myself, but i am getting a bit stressed about it. my mum was going to come to help me, but now cant, so am really unsure. i am a wuss. am so worried about dd2 and changing things with her. after her nearly getting killed the other week bolting itno a rd and then wandering off yesterday, my parenting confidence has taken a bit of a knock.

You'll be fine misdee! im sure all of you will have a lovely break, me and a friend and our kids went last may to the butlins in minehead and i was 5 months pregnant at the time too and so worried about how we would all cope, but we had a great time! the apartment we stayed in was ok, didnt have a bath which was a problem for my youngest who was 2 and a bit at the time as he would not have a shower so i had to bath him in the sink lol!! other than that we had lots and lots of fun and giggles! - you will have lots of fun too! - enjoy Smile

It will be FAB misdee..... dont stress about it. The kids will LOVE it, and DD2 wont dash into the road, because there are no roads for her to dash into unless you go off-site!

The more you stress about it, the more they will pick up on it and play up.

RELAX and ENJOY xxx

Don't fret! I took my family (DD1 was 4 DD2 was 2) abroad with another family (DD1 was 6, DD2 was 5, DS was 4) and it was a doddle. With more kids, they keep themselves amused, and there were so many adult eyes on them, that for once they couldn't get one past us! Also, we have grown-up girly time, and there was always someone left to keep an eye out. I got to read for the first time in years! By bedtime, they'll be too tired to protest. I'd even be inclined to skip the odd bath for an easy life. Both families are looking forward to Butlins this year. Hope you have lots of fun.
