How often and when to brush baby's teeth/tooth

Baby has just got her first tooth, I've been brush in the morning after her 1st bottle (around 6am) nap then breakfast (9am) then brushing then after her bedtime bottle.

Should I be brushing ther tooth after every meal? And is the morning brush too late?

Thanks

i was always told by my dentist to simply brush twice a day like we do, morning and evening, with a soft toothbrush with just a tiny amount of baby toothpaste. We never used to brush more than that (and still don't)
We also used to give our DCs the toothbrush to hold and kind of just chew on it a bit to clean teeth also to get them used to holding the brush.

I'm told by a dentist friend that brushing before breakfast is better than after. Don't ask me why exactly. At this stage you're just developing a good brushing habit so getting baby used to it being part of the morning and bedtime routine is really what you're doiing. Milk teeth are good practice for the real thing.

Ooh the brushing before breakfast thing is interesting I will look into that...maybe it's so etching to do with the acid in your mouth? Thank you for replies.

I am brushing twice a day, morning (no toothpaste) and after the evening bottle (with baby toothpaste). I used to do it twice a day with toothpaste, until someone told me in Belgium the recommendation is not to use toothpaste more than once a day until they're two. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but knowing they ingest the fluoride I thought it makes sense.

DS is now 16 months and I'm using a "normal" children's toothbrush, but until he was 1-ish I used a silicone brush I bought off Amazon (and which was, incidentally, one of the best teethers!)
