Help - trying to replace a Tesco soft toy bought 3 years ago!

Well, dp and I committed the ultimate parenting blooper and accidentally left dd's bedtime friends on the ferry on the way to France. One was a Steiff, so easily replaced, but the other was a little yellow giraffe (Cherokee brand I think) bought when she was born in Jan 2009. We've contacted Brittany Ferries, but no trace (the Steiff probably made it home to somewhere, but the giraffe might not have been so lucky - or am I being cynical?). We've searched Tesco stores near us and tried Tesco customer services, but no luck there either. I even looked on Ebay, but there were only blankie-type ones. Just thought it was worth a try to see if anyone had spotted one near them!

Oh no!

Is it any of these?

ZhenThereWereTwo · 03/07/2012 23:55

Or this?

ZhenThereWereTwo · 03/07/2012 23:56

Have you got a photo? Or trawl through google images to find a picture of one.

Is it the series with the blue elephant and the lion?

AmberPig · 04/07/2012 10:50

Thanks ZhenThereWereTwo, terrific links, but it's none of those (although some were nicer and more giraffe-like than the one we lost!). Yes gingerchick, it is from that series, and I'm sure I saw them in store not that long ago. Serves us right for not buying a duplicate at the time I suppose.

This is the closest I can find

had it got different colours on it as well? I have a yellow giraffe but it has pink bits on it too. I don't know how to show you a picture...

AmberPig · 04/07/2012 11:07

No barleysugar, it's just yellow. I'll have to dig out a baby picture with it on. We've told dd he's gone to visit his family in Africa - looks like it could be a long trip...
