I did one at the local children's centre

CherryBlossom27 · 04/07/2012 08:00

Yes, I did one for free throw go our local sure start centre.

I definitely recommend it, it made me feel much more confident and now I'm weaning DS the knowledge of how to do with choking is very reassuring!

Yep through local families and children centre - contact your local one.

Our Surestart offers them too.

oreocrumbs · 04/07/2012 08:13

I did one with sure start. The HV offered me a place on the course when DD was very young.

I hope they still do them, because people were wasting places in my area. The course I went on was fully booked but she said she would squeeze me in as an extra. There should have been 21 of us. Only 2 of us showed up.

NCT also offer them in conjunction with the Red Cross. If you are on a low income thre are subsidised and free rates, depending on your situation.

Thank you all for this.
