Types of mattress for my 2yr old

I am just looking at bed for my son who has just turned 2, and there are soooo many types of mattress, what is the best kind I should get?

Although my son isn't yet 2 (he's only 7 weeks), we have a memory foam mattress. I think it's more important on looking at the firmness of the mattress rather than the type of mattress. Some mattresses are by nature firmer than others, but from a personal opinion I would go with a memory foam or latex mattress. They come in all different kinds of firmness and comfort settings. Take a visit to your local store to try a few out to tell the difference.
