Hi everyone, I have a friend who wants to switch from breast to mixed feeding, but she is waiting until she's been to Egypt in sept, as she thinks that breastmilk would be the safest/most convenient option to travel with. She's not an MNer do I said I'd check for her just to see if anyone knows if it is possible to buy ready to feed formula milk cartons in Egypt?-as, if so, she'll move to mixed feeding now. Many thanks (-:

Had a similar problem in Turkey last year. We took bottles, washing up liquid, a camping bucket, a travel kettle and Milton tablets. Took tins of formula in suitcase and some in milk pot along with sterilised bottles of boiled water. At airport security, we had to put all the water in a tray and the staff chose two for us to taste (I took a spoon with me). Every day we washed the bottles, soaked them in Milton, boiled the water twice for good measure and then did as in the UK. DD was never ill and she was only 3.5 months.
