Giving away toys

Hi everyone,

I thought it was a time for a clearout, so suggested to my two-year old that we take some of her old toys 'to give to other children who don't have toys'. She very enthusiastically picked things out to put in a big bag for the other children.

I was just intending to take them to the local charity shop. But my two-year old is now very keen to come and actually give the toys to children directly and is constantly asking when we are going to take them to the children.

Does anyone have any ideas of somewhere I could take her, where she could actually hand toys to children? I'm proud of her that she wants to do this, but obviously, I wouldn't want it to be somewhere too upsetting (like a hospital)...

I'm in Sydenham, London.

A hospital isn't upsetting, it's a place full of hope. Smile Your daughter sounds lovely.
