A year ago a friend and I set up a 'pressure group' (membership of 2 lol) to pressurise the council to do something about nappy waste (its a real issue where I live as we have no landfill left)

Anyway I set up and designed a website to promote the use of cloth nappies and we went round all sorts of places putting up posters, giving demonstrations and having chats with people. We got midwives and health visitors on board. In fact its been a busy year all told.

The council are now setting up a voucher scheme and are going to launch it in Real Nappy Week- thyev'e asked to buy my website (obviously it'd be loads cheaper than making their own)

I don't really want to take any money away from the cause so I suggested that they buy it for what it cost me to purchase the domain and that they look to their conscience if they want to make a small donation for my time in building the site.

It's never been about the money but they have offered me a small amount which I've accepted.

I just don't have the time any more and I feel that I have achieevd what i set out to do- which is to get the council to do something which they are now doing so JOB DONE and website sold
