Hi. I started toilet/potty training 2 and a bit weeks ago with my 2y 1 month old dd, and it seemed to be going very well, a few accidents first day, 1 on the second day then pretty good ever since. However she does about half the time wet her panties a little before she tells me needs to go, or in the time it takes to get there, not sure which. She also won't go before we get in the car, so I have had to do roadside stops a few times almost immediately after we have set off. Plus at the creche this morning she had an accident. I sort of assume this is all par for the course, as is her desire to interrupt a meal she doesn't really want with several requests to go to the toilet!!
Can someone reassure me please!!

my daughter has been trying for over a year and still wets sometimes through the day. don't worry. i make her go to the loo before we go out or she gets told we wouldn't go. before all meals aswell or no food. it works. she will go and if not right away you sit for about five minutes plan ahead. do everything a bit early. watch how much juice she's drinking i had to cut back. and don't give her it 10 minutes before you go to leave. i found liquid takes about 1/2 hour to leave. so do your maths, i hope that helped.

Thanks.good to know I'm not alone! She has had no accidents on the poo front, just the wetting panities thing! I reckon 20-mins to half an hour as well with drinks, but she is a stubborn little thing and I don't want to make an issue of forcing her on to the toilet.
