And it was my fault! I feel terrible, I closed the dishwasher door on her fingers...
Her nail is all bent and bleeding, oh my god, I feel so bad. She's not in pain now but she cried and whimpered for so long, I think she was in shock that pain could come out of no-where like that. At least I've got the first time out of the way!!

aw, bless her. How old is she?

poor you... it's a shock isn't it. I feel for you!
How old is dd?
Can she move all her fingers alright?

Ds (18m) worked out the other day that the kettle is indeed hot! I've got one of those shiny metal ones and he just had a growth spurt so now he suddenly could reach the work top... thankfully he had only split second contact and no burns. [relieved emoticon] But he's not going anywhere near it now... guess he learned his lesson. And I mine... kettle is now right at the back :)

She's 9 months. She was in her walker at the time. She's clinging to me like a limpet now!
Her little fingers are fine. I tested her by giving her a cracker, she snatched it with her hurt hand and stopped crying!
