Can anyone recommend a night light?

DD1 (3) has had a few nightmares and has starting saying she doesn't like the dark. I think a nightlight may help reassure her.

Anyone got a good one they can recommend?

Idea do cheap ones that are like a plug with a light on, which switch off automatically when it gets light.

Second the 'spooka' suggestion. My DS has a blue one, and they are soft to the touch, and have good battery life. My DS takes his into bed with him if he is scared, otherwise it says on his bedside table. Light enough to light the room, but dim enough not to keep them awake. Brilliant.

I think something she could actually take into bed with her would be far too exciting- she'd never sleep!

I was thinking more of a plug in type affair, I just don't want one that's too bright I think.

both dd and ds have one like this.

what about something like this?

The Go-glo ones are really good.

You just charge it up and then it doesn't have to be plugged in at night, so you can put in anywhere in the room.

DS1 loves his.

you could use the gro-clock - its like blackpool illuminations even on the lowest setting!

Kidsleep worked really well (still does) for dd1, it changed my life! I would say go for the travel version though which is battery powered, I found the cord on the other one a bit of a worry and the transformer was a bit noisy which bothered her. Travel version us great and obviously can come with us wherever we go. It us divided into two halves, one to show her when it is daytime and one for nighttime which also really helped with the ridiculously early morning phase!

We got an alarm clock with a night light from Argos - very good as doesn't look like a night light so isn't considered babyish buy my ds who is much older than 3!
