I use a combination of the Pop-in Dream dri and 2-parter older nappies like Sandys, tots bots with motherease wraps (which I was given by various friends, danke schoen!) I bought the pop-ins new and was very excited about how cute they are, but unless I change them within 2 hours they often leak wee around the legs and sometimes the top too. Bit of a pain as it means a change of clothes. DS1 is now 14 months...perhaps he's a heavy wetter, but another friend with a 7 MO girl has found the same thing. It even happens despite using a bamboo booster on top of the 2 microfibre liners.
I tried itti tuttos and they leaked even worse! I reckon poppers don't suit DS, he's got a very slim waist and it's difficult with poppers to get a close fit. Shame, cos the cotton liners keep baby really dry.
I was thinking of expanding my collection a bit to hopefully find some more reliable but attractive/slim all-in-one nappies, and wondered whether Bumgenius might be a bit better, as their liners looked a bit more substantial on the pictures, and I liked the idea of organic cotton. Or has anyone tried the new Pop-in +bamboo? I do love the fact that dream dri dries so quickly in the winter, so don't want something that will take eons to dry!
Thanks nappy gurus for your help
