My daughter's friend today was giving my daughter dirty looks because she was talking to another girl. She has become very possessive over my daughter and my daughter feel suffocated and wants to move on from her. They are all 8 years old and are in Year 3 at school. Then as a school trip the teacher took them to the park to play. My daughters possessive friend was on her own and my daughter told her to join her and the other girl to play. She ignored my daughter and hysterically ran away. The teacher ran after her and made the whole class go back to school so the whole park trip was ruined over this girls behaviour. In the classroom my daughter and her friend asked if she was ok and she turned around and told them that they were horrible and told me daughter to shut-up and go away. She told her mum what happened but gave it to suit her making it out to be my daughters fault. I told the mum that my daughter was free to play with who she wants and she told me to tell my daughter not to leave her out. I told her that it is up to my daughter who she plays with and that her daughter was feeling left out and to next time tell the teacher and not to phone me at home. My daughter doesn't want to play with her at all.
