How did I get to this webpage? Trying to source this quote:

No-one gets to their death bed and thinks 'Hell, I wish I'd worked more and seen my kids less'!

I read this with a mixture of utter disbelief and giggles. It certainly doesn't apply to me, I'm far too masochistic to 'hate' my lifestyle, but I can't decide whether this was mind-opening or mind-numbing. Worth a quick glance through anyway.

Meh it's just people venting, I'm sure some of them feel this way 100% of the time, but most imagine are in the midst of a bad day/week/month.

I remember the first night alone in the hospital with pfb, I cried and thought "wtf have I done", it passed. Being a Mother is often shit and overwhelming, hey at least all of those bitching about being exhausted are probably doing it right.

I cried for a long time after concieving dd2. Dd1 was 5 and nicely independent and I realised while I wanted another child I did not want the associated clinging nappies no sleep etc. I get it.
