DS being akward with bottles

DS used to take his bottle on my knee but in the last 2 weeks refuses it totally unless he's sitting on his own, so buggy, carseat, high chair will take it no prob but just will not sit on my knee i'm pretty sure nothing can be done about this but i'm a bit WTF has anyone else had this or is my son just a wierdo? :o

I wouldn't bother me but since he started doing it he has terrible wind and refuses his bedtime bottle and screams for up to an hour before he goes to sleep (usually feeds to sleep) it's driving me nuts

How old is he? My DD started being like this with her bottle at around 14mo, & now at 17mo she has stopped wanting it altogether!

If he's over six months and on solids, I'd take the opportunity to ditch them altogether - much easier when they're younger and you can go straight to a sippy cup.

he's only 4 month so they need to stay.

I think we should just feed him in his buggy then move him once he's sleepy to bed to stop the crying but DP thinks thats giving into him.
