Seborrhoeic dermatitis in my 6 week old - advice please???

Hi, my 6 week old has the above rash on her face. Scalp is not too bad at the moment. Am using E45 to moisturise. It looks so red & scaly and is upsetting me :( I have a GP appointment tomorrow but wondered if anybody had any experience or advice re what helps.

Have you had that diagnosed? Is it not more likely to be infant acne, a common condition related to either your hormones present in your baby or exposure to air after 9 months of swimming? Mine had it between 4-8 weeks. It looked awful and sore, particularly behind her ears. E45 helped a lot and that one just settles on its own, although E45 and cradle cap (what the rash on her hairline turned into) do not mix.
