Hi i was wondering if anyone can give me some advice! My 13 week old will not sleep day or night unless i breastfeed her. As soon as i move her from the breast she wakes and it will take another hour and a half to get her back to sleep!
I tried giving her expressed bottles but this only made her worse! She wont even cat nap in her swing. As soon as she gets tired she beging to cry to the point she gags!
I also have began trying a dummy but this didin't fool her.
Please any advice would be most appriciated,

does she stay asleep after you feed her?

13 weeks is still very young - there is nothing actually wrong with feeding a tiny baby to sleep, they won't do it forever. :)

does she come off the breast all sleepy by herself, or are you taking her off? with my 9 week old for example, he eventually slows down then stops and i can transfer him to bed after a few minutes.

also i didn't have a good sling for my first baby and that's made such a difference. DS2 seems to love it, he falls asleep almost straight away as i walk around and i have both hands free to eat or tidy up etc.

hi thanks for your reply. She will come off asleep but as soon as i move she is awake and will only settle again when fed!
on the few occassions she has remained asleep when i have put her down she will only sleep for 20 minutes max.
She doesnt like the sling she will stay awake in it then again when she gets tired she screams until fed!!
