Hi

Dd arrived three days ago :D I think I'm ready to do a couple of reusables a day to slowly get into it. How do Imanage cord care ie keeping cord outside of nappy?

I have lollipop pop n gros and tots bots flexitots also an ebay cheapie and a tots bots easyfit. Got some others too but think they're too big right now.

Many thanks.

when DD was new born i used some very small nappies

sandies size 0
and lollipop micro without a booster

with a lollipop or a one life wrap

those wraps have a cut away for the chord so it doesnt touch the nappy

kissaluvs size 0 have a popper in the middle which you can use when the chord is still attatched and you can un pop it and use normally until baby is about 3m old.

OR you could just use disposable for a few days, and switch to cloth once the chord has fallen off

My baby went into cloth at 24 hours old and had no probles with the chord using the above nappies with the very small wraps

Do you have any wraps? If so then I would use a muslin, folded like a terry. They're honestly the best thing for a newborn because you can easily fold the fabric away from the cord and they're less bulky than 'proper' reusables.
