It annoys me so much

We live on quite a busy one way narrow street with cars parked tightly on both sides

A neighbours little girl turned 3 and was allowed out to play

I know we are all different with what we allow and what we don't regarding our children, and each to their own I suppose, but this is ridiculas (mine aren't going out alone til they are 20 of course )

The other evening it was dusk and the other Children were out playing football and she was in the road

Have some parents got no sense what so ever? she can't have any road sense at the age of 3

Should have somebody on patrol and the likes of this little Girl should be took back to her house. Ok, I know that is never going to happen, but it should!

Same kids play out in the summer and are out there till 10ish sometimes, ranging from 3-10yrs

I have actually been in bed before now and they are still out playing

Just gets to me and wanted to moan about it lol

Wouldn't let my 3yo play out. No way. She has no concept of stranger danger, road safety etc

a little boy used to come and ask if ds1 could go out to play when he was 4. little boy was same age. he lived a good 10 minute walk away, had to go down a very busy road to get to us, was usually on his bike and would frequently go the wrong way down one way streets, i hated driving down there after i almost ran him over when he whizzed round a blind corner. busy road used to have loads of lorries and traffic going to a port, was 30mph but could easily be mistaken for a 50mph zone as was very wide. i think i was the only one who didnt speed down there! of course i was the wicked witch cos ds wasnt allowed to go out with him

My friend went out to her car a few weeks ago and found a 2 year old playing outside on her own, she knoked on the girls mothers door and all her mum said was 'her brother was supposed to be keeping an eye on her' ( her brother was only 4 years old!
This makes me so angry, anyone could pick them up!

Not only could these young children hurt themselves, but anything could happen - they could be snatched.
God, the thought sends shivers down my spine.
Ds, aged 2, will be in reigns until atleast aged 23
