HELP! Blu tac in hair!

CloudRazor · 08/06/2012 10:25

Dts (3.5) has managed to secure a large lump of Blu tac in his fringe -.-
Have tried washing it out with shampoo, pulling it out (to much screaming), and I'm now worried I'm just going to have to cut it out and leave him with a bald patch :O any ideas? Please?

Cover it in conditioner and comb it out? Or take him to a hairdresser; they are used to that kind of thing.

Oil of some sort I would have thought - baby oil?

OK, apparently anti frizz hair serum also works or Vaseline or WD40

Vaseline and baby oil have worked! Had to cut a tiny bit off, but it looks fine Smile thank you all for your suggestions.

That reminds me of how my friend and I put our chewing gum behind our ears a la Violet Beauregarde....

Well done - I was going to say 'scissors' but now I will make a mental note of this for when it undoubtedly happens to me. Thanks mumsnet!
