I am after some advice on changing formula milk, my little boy who is 11 weeks is on aptamil comfort. All he seems to do is scream after each feed, he is fine bringing up his wind and we have tried gaviscon but that didnt work! He is gaining wait and is sleeping through the night but just not very settled in the day....anyone else been in a similar situation? Xx

My DD had reflux (I think) as a baby, and she would often scream after feeds. We just used regular aptamil - think comfort is the best one for colic/windy babies. I used to keep her upright after feeds for as long as possible, use bouncy chair, hold her on my tummy, walk around with her which helped. We also put her mattress on an incline (following advice from HV and GP).

It DID pass - probably round about the 3 month mark things got noticibly better. You could try smaller feeds more often too - we did that for a while which also helped. She is 11mo now and absolutely fine, happy as anything.

Hope this helps some.
