Hiya
We would like to get some bunk beds they are 7ft (210cm) long. The way the kids room is situated with wardrobes etc means that the bunk beds would have to be placed away about 2ft from the wall and not against it - the wall is not long enough only 5.5 ft. The head can go against the wall but the rest of the bunk bed would have to lead on from that. We can't move the wardrobe as this is about 7ft wide itself.
The bunk beds have a guard rail on each side on the top bunk.
My DD is 6.5 and she will be sleeping there, my DS is 3 and he'll be on the bottom bunk.
I'm just concerned about the safety issue, of the long-side of the bunk bed not being positioned against the wall.
Just want to know what anyone else would do.
