Can I bleach Motherease one size?

This is probably a stupid question but I've just bought a load of second hand MEOS. There's nothing wrong with them at all, they're just a bit grey from being washed with colours. I have a bit of a thing about my washing line flapping with bright white nappies and should get out more.

So, can I bleach them? Will this damage them at all? Any other tips for whitening? Or should I just get over it? Thanks!

i cant see any reason why you cant bleach them

also washing them in a powder with optical brighteners and line drying should get them brighter over time if you decide not to bleech them

you can buy them in bleached (white) or unbleached (a cremier colour) anyway, so the white ones have been bleeched anyway (but not domestically)

normal bleach will make them look yellower.

you can buy stuff that whitens - it's usually got a hint of blue in it.
not sure if all of these are available in UK

Thanks - will give it a go...just as soon as it looks like I have a decent chance of hanging them out on the line!

Although it does somewhat cancel out the Eco friendliness if you bleach...
