I do my DD every 3 days with conditioner, she has very long, thick hair so far touch wood nothing, never rinse the conditioner completely out, less for them to attatch to.

Not sure what your question is - is she showing obvious signs of itching? if yes you need to look very carefully behind ears and at the top of the neck as well as anywhere she is scratching - and then ask the pharmacy for the most effective and apply
but saying this i think there will be others better placed to comment as mine have not yet had (so far..)
