My 7 year old little girl has started to have accidents in her pants, I've tried talking to her about it, and reming her to go to the the toilet but it's not wee, and I need to get to the bottom of it, no pun. it's a recent thing but did happen a couple of time previously last year all help appreciated.

Where do the accidents happen: school, home, everywhere???
When do the accidents happen, any specific times?

Try to keep a diary (might need help from school with this). You want to find out if there is a pattern and then find the trigger.

Could it have to do with specific foods she eats? Dirty toilets making her try to put it off for too long? Scared of going to the toilet for whatever reason?

Could she be compacted? If this was the case she wouldn't know she was doing it

We were totally unaware that my ds was constipated as he never strained to pass poo however he was impacted and hence soiling as overflow so dont rule this out. If symptoms are not classic dont assume it will be easily diagnosed as this by doctor.
