I poas'ed this morning, and got an unplanned BFP.

I have 2 dc already, dd 18mo and ds 6mo.

I was just wondering if any of you have or have had 3 under 3 and if it's as bad as I imagine it's going to be?

I don't - i have a 5 and a 4 year old so i had 2 under two at one point!. my best friend had 3 under 3 - one was just 2 and half (boy), the next (boy)was 18months and then she had an unplanned pregnancy which turned out to be twin girls! So she had 2 newborns, an 18 month and a 2 1/2 year old. Pretty exhuasting and hectic to say the least but they coped well and adapted and now of course, wouldn't have it any other way (although the husband was sad to sell his sports car for a MPV!)
Hope things work out well for you! Are you happy with the news, shocked, daunted, scared?

I had 3 under 3, (twins and a 20 mth old). It was very hard work when they were little, but a lot of fun now they're older, and it's lovely having children close in age to each other (on the good days, obviously!). I thought I'd have 2 children, but I love having 3 - they're such a little pack. And with kids close in age you get through the nappies/no sleep/tricky baby bits more quickly (though I know some people love that bit)
Hope you're feeling OK?

I am due in Nov with DC5 (also not planned!) and the youngest will all be under 3! (2 yrs and 4 months, and 1 year and 3 months!) Older 2 are at school - they will be 6 and 5 by then.

I have to admit I do keep having a bit of a panic about the whole situation, but I'm sure we will muddle through somehow. I'm just hoping since they are all so close in age they will entertain each other and play together well (that's what has happened with my oldest 2 who are close in age!)

Congratulations! I had 3 under 3 and I've survived the first 15 months! Now have dc1 4.2, dc2 2.11 and dc3 15mo. It's been hard, but not as bad as I expected...tbh I LOVE it and I adore my little tribe Grin

I had a cleaner weekly for the first year - this helped massively, and yes my house was trashed each week when the woman turned up Blush

also I hired a mother's help for a few hours 2 x a week for the first 7 month or so, this was great as enabled me to play with the older 2, or do some washing up or something. We struggled, and still do financially though, especially with these but it's all been worth it!

Good luck!

I am scared as hell, I just panic everytime I think about it (which is all the damn time)
