Bath time routine changes ??

DS has just turned 1. Our routine at the moment is bath , teeth washed in bath, bottle & bed but now that he has several teeth should I change it around to bottle, bath & bed? Will it confuse him too much?

No-you will have to make changes at different times-e.g. add a bedtime story, miss out a bath etc.

I wouldn't think that confusion is something you should worry about, but if you have a strong-willed DS you might find that changing the routine just won't work. My DS is now 17mo and has the same routine as yours - I've tried changing it around but he is very set on having his bottle (and it must be a bottle, he rejects a cup at bedtime) as the last thing before bed. I figure that at least he's cleaning his teeth, although obviously it should really be after his milk. There's plenty of time to change it around once they stop having milk before bed.
