Little triumphs ... do you have any to share? (mine's proud and slightly tmi)

One and a half hours ago, I was covered in every human excretion possible from both me and my 7 day old baby.

We're now both bathed, dressed, she's breakfasted and we're going to have a little walk before the midwife comes to take my caesarian stitches out. The cat's been fed, the house has been tidied and I'm feeling really happy.

And I didn't even need to phone my mum to come and help (I'm a single parent). Just wanted to share ... fingers crossed it carries on like this. Grin

I remember those days well. Well done for sorting it out, sometimes it's hard to know where to begin isn't it?

I'm up, dressed and on my third load of washing.

That is bloody well done!

Mine is that we started potty training DS1 last weekend and a week later he is pretty much there apart from the odd nugget in his pants based on the day 1 performance I never thought it would be possible.

Well done, that's great at 7 days! I remember the first time that managed to get both me and DD dressed, fed and and out of the house at the time we needed to be out. It felt amazing.

Today I have finally - four months after she was born and two months since she has actually been sleeping in it - finished the nursery Grin
