Suddenly very hungry / fussy

Today my LO was his usual happy self, had his 8 wk check and was very smiley with the doc, got a good bill of health...Met a friend and his little boy & went to the park...i checked with the doc that he wasn't wearing too many clothes for the heat & whether it was ok for us to sit in the shade during the afternoon & he said yes...well LO was fine up until about 6 then went mental for his bottle - literally crazy hungry even though it was still about 40 mins before he'd usually want it...then he got indigestion (probably as he was drinking so quick), then just wasn't himself - fussy, wide eyes, seemed really overstimulated and it took ages for me to call him. Now he's gone to sleep on me after a lot of cuddling...I'm a FTM and reading this back it's probably me overreacting but I was worried about the over hungry & wide eyed/not being himself part...could it be just overstimulation or maybe dehydrated? Or usual baby fussiness?

Typo - calm, not call!

Probably a little dehydrated, hungrier than normal, and a bit stressed out after the crying. The bigger they get, they often want more to eat and/or more frequently. In hot weather, FF babies can often benefit from little drinks of water between feeds. Don't worry too much

Thank you, that is reassuring to know Smile

This morning he did the largest poo I had ever seen after a pretty long sleep, then seemed to be back to his smiley giggly normal self (possibly a bit overexcited if anything)-so maybe an upset tummy was slightly to blame...I think he might have got a bit overstimulated yesterday as well as being a bit dehydrated...I've learnt my lesson now - it's a quiet day in a nice, cool house for him today Smile

Warm weather tends to get the bugs multiplying unfortunately. Nice cool house sounds perfect.
