Leaking nappies alternative - advice needed

princess2012 · 23/05/2012 12:15

I've been using huggies nappies for my Baby since he was born but now that he's trying to sit up, I keep getting leaks. This happens at least once a day. I've also tried pampers and little angels but i have the same problem. Could anyone suggest any alternative that has worked well for them.

Thx

Is your child in the right size nappy?

nannyl · 23/05/2012 22:24

i find my cloth nappies much much more reliable than disposables

i mainly use lollipop fleece ones or bamboo ones or tots bots bamboo one (all of which use a wrap and i us a motherease air flow)

I agree, I found disposables leaked and washables tended not to so much.

I second reusables - have had no leaks at all since switching and wish I'd done it from the start. I use totsbots easyfit during the day and totsbots bamboozles with a motherese wrap over the top at night. If you're thinking about giving them a try google the nappy lady - she is brill and has a questionnaire you can fill in and she will tell you what nappies would suit your needs best.

I've for the Just 4 Bums from Kiddicare to be the best. My boy only leaks if he falls on his bum from standing before I've changed his nighttime nappy, as it's so full (he's 13 months). Maybe your LO needs changing a bit more frequently? That said, I found Huggies to be rubbish. and pampers and most other brands :)
