SS involved for "domestic violence" (me and dp play fighing i landed on me head nothing nasty)

SS got involved after i went to hospital after me and dp were playfighing and i landed on my head went to a&e to get checked out anyway and low and behold my dp got arrested and ss are now involved - please note my ds was in bed when we were messing around. So now we are being looked into! HOW ANNOYING! i feel so pissed off because i dont want fucking ss near my family!! I feel really shit right now that they even think dv is in my family, i wouldnt stand for it from my dp or anyman ....when do they go away? does the record stay forever?!

OK OP are you posting this to test the water and are actually needing to go to A&E but are too scared as you are wondering what the hospital will do, even though it was an accident? They will understand. If not, more info is needed to understand your situation.

OP, if you are actually suffering DV and wanted to test how plausible your playfight story was because you are concerned SS will become involved then don't worry - A&E will not call them unless they have definitive proof you've been assaulted. If you are not able to seek help at this point but want advice call women's aid 0808 2000 247 or they have a website (can hit a button to hide your tracks).

But the deleted posts weren't implying the OP was a troll. They were implying she might not be telling the truth about the nature of her injuries and was protecting her violent husband.

They were not very supportiveof an OP who might be suffering DV and in denial about it and covering up for a shitbag partner but they did not look like troll hunters at all.

We do have strict guidelines to follow for DV, it's either a health visitor/school nurse referral for suspected incidents of DV.

However, if there are serious concerns then a SS referral is made.
That's our A&E protocol and seems very similar in other A&E's that I've worked at. There will also be an 'alert' placed on your name in A&E which means the next time you go there staff will be alerted that you have possible DV going on!!!!

The staff obviously had concerns that something wasn't right??
It is irrelevant whet your ds was at time of incident, even if he was staying at a relatives for the night a referral would have been made to safe guard your son!

Ss will visit and if there are no concerns there won't be any further involvement but it will stay on record.
