What could be wrong? I'm suggesting to SIL that she takes DN to the walk in centre.

My first thought was hand foot and mouth? But I do tend to be over-dramatic.

What do you think?

Should add, DN is 7mo and rash is head to toe. I haven't seen her as she is a 40 min drive away, but we have been chatting this morning.

could it be measles?

could well be HF&M, its very easily spread. Could also be measles though, as that causes spots on the gums. Google images can help here as you can compare the rash. To be honest if she is coping ok and pretty well in herself, don't bother with the dr. If you think its measles, then phone them and see what they want to do as its a notifiable infection
