I'm off to visit my mum who lives in sunny climes, because I'm disorganized and pretty hopeless I cant think what I need to take ie for swimming etc. Also any handy tips for flying with baby and ryanair would be gratefully received.

we took DD to Menorca when she was 10 weeks. A sling is handy for the plane, though they will usually let you keep your buggy right up til the door of the plane if you want (or surrender it at check in). If you are sterilizing bottles, you can get bags to use in the microwave which are a great travel option. They do them in Boots and ToyrUs. Bit young for suncream really, so keep her in the shade most of the time. Swim nappies (Huggies or Boots own brand) and just a long sleeve top and leggings for the pool. She doesn't need a proper swimming costume. At least two sunhats.
As for actually on the plane, baby is going to be asleep most of the time or feeding, but take a rattle or something just in case.
have a lovely time and remember, you can buy nappies etc abroad so just take enough for the first day or so, maybe get your mum to get some in for you in advance.
