hi I have a 5 week old little boy who is mainly breast fed with the occasional bottle of aptamil in the night, I am concerned about the amount of poos he is doing - on average he does between 10 - 12 a day is this normal? I am slightly concerned x

My DC both pooed at each feed (and sometimes between too) at first, I can't remember how long it went on.

If your worried at all about him it'd probably be best to check with your HV or GP.

Oh and they fed +/- 2 hourly so 10-14 ish poos a day.

yes, at that age, we thought DD's wees were made of poo Grin

it'll get less frequent.

but if you are worried at all, ask your HV or GP

Yep, that's normal. What is also normal is them not going for 3 days or more and then drowning themselves and you in a tide of that lovely yellow stuff so that you need 6 outfits in the space of 2 hours. Grin
