christening outfit

so my son is being christened next month, what the hell am i supposed to wear?! i want to look nice but not over the top any suggestions as what i can wear to strike the right balance?!

How much are you wanting to spend? Do you prefer skirts, trousers or dresses? Do you like heels or flats?

dress and i have the shoes already that i am planning on wearing they're heels! budget is up to about £100 but would preferably spend less! just need like a few ideas cos have no clue what style of dress or whatever is appropriate xxx

Hmm, well, I would suggest either a tea dress or a wrap dress....something smart and 'dressy' but not what you would wear on a night out. Maybe the equivalent of going out for a fancy hotel's afternoon tea?
