Supermarket nappy swap

A friend of mine was trying to sell some disposable nappies online and someone told her that you could take unopened packs of nappies into any supermarket and they swap you for the size you want. Does anyone have any experience of this? This could be revolutionary!!

I was given quite a few packs of first size nappies when I had DS, but as he was 9lb2 at birth and grew fast, I ended up taking some of them back to Tesco and swapping them. They were very helpful, even without a receipt which was handy as I bought some of them in ASDA
